Visit where you are getting your dog from

It is just as important to visit any rescue , humane society or dog pound as it is to visit any breeder you are thinking of getting a dog from. There is an Animal Shelter about 50 miles from me that mails out fliers , has commercials on TV and has a Petfinder website. ALL of thoes things say that none of their dogs are in cages and that they have big grass fields to run in.

WELL , I went visiting and was appalled at what I found. ALL the little dogs are in cages with shredded newspaper , 2-5 dogs to a cage. Or in small areas sectioned off by 4 foot high white vinyl picket fences where they can't see out at all into the building. NONE have access to the outside to those "big grass fields"
